We would like to respectfully propose a policy for those intending to upload their bids for the National Convention Awards that any image document should be limited to STATIC images only in JPG format (preferrably 300kb or lower). Animated GIFs, AVI, or mp3 files are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the uploads.
Those found doing the uploading of such files will automatically be DISQUALIFIED for that particular bid in the NatCon. No reconsideration shall be given. This is to prevent the server from being swamped with unnecessary files which we had noticed during the AreaCon bids, hence many of you experienced difficulty in uploading.
For the AreaCon, I have received a barrage of complaints/requests from different sources asking the Commission to extend the deadline of the submission of bids. As your NRRC Chair, much as we want to extend the deadline, we cannot as we also have specific deadlines to meet. As future leaders, let us learn how to follow rules. Let us all eliminate the bad habit of procrastination. Let us all be punctual and prompt to all things we are doing and this include meeting deadlines.
For those who were not able to finish the bids on time last AreaCon, our sincere apologies. We have a system/operations/ deadline to observe and whatever delays we may encounter, will certainly have a negative effect to every one.
Hoping that we have made our self clear so that we may not have the same problem in our forthcoming NatCon bids.
