JCI HEAD TRAINERS COURSE

Tag:,

Hello Certified National Trainers!

As emailed to you previously, we will be having a JCI HEAD TRAINERS COURSE on August 24, Friday 7pm to 12 midnight at Clark Field Pampanga. Currently NTC Voltaire is negotiating for the registration with JCI University Coordinator Richard Tan. The hurdle would be the cost of Karen’s travel.

The venue will be in Clark since Karen Smythe wishes all CNT to have a short observation on the new JCI Presenter Course. HT Course is only available initially in Aspac Conference and World Congress. A CNTs completion of HT course will allow one to Head key JCI Courses such as Achieve, Admin, Presenter, Prime, Trainer, Designer, Lead, Advance and others (provided of course if the CNT has been an assistant trainer and has completed all the modules of the courses mentioned).

We will keep you posted for more updates soon.

Thank you and good day!

Glenn

Kindly take note that the files are read only, so just click read only please when you open it. The file is courtesy of JCI Training Administrator Gunther Meyer. Its draft guide pa naman but I think nandyan na po yung basic information that everyone needs.

National Training Commission Plan of Action for 2007

Tag:,

Dear Trainers,

Please allow me to introduce the National Training Commission. Details of our Plans of Action for 2007 attached herewith. I am sure you have lots of questions, I may not be able to answer all of them her but feel free to IM us anytime and we are glad to assist you (yahoo ID: gleendo). But here are basics:

We encourage you to team up with existing trainers in you chapters, in case you don’t have then work with your vp individual and anybody in charge of training. It is important that you hone your skills at a local level.
You have your www.jci.cc SIGN-IN names already, visit the site for available training manuals and guides, just click on JCI university (there are new seminars such as balance, attracting professional members and others)
The link below – JCI University Online Users Guide – click it and download the guide how to log in your hours, monitor and track it.

After you logged trainer reaches 25 hours, JCI will update your status to CLT

Remember – your sign in status is TRAINER – hence, always use the same SIGN-in name for the rest of your JCI career!

What we did after we graduated from Prime back in 1999:
- We studied the available modules of JCI and find a way to practiced it.

- Since we have NO scheduled trainings in our chapter, we organized new ones, so we constantly recruit new members and do OTS, project planning, fundraising, parliamentary procedures and vanguard.

- We partnered with existing trainers and we offer our services to nearby chapters – the chapters just arrange for the venue of the seminar and food – and we all take care of the rest like transportation and hotel accommodation.

- We look for senior trainers scheduled run – like Mennen Aracid of Kagayhaan Gold – and we observe him. We learned a lot from him though just be observing. Others were Oliver Sicat of Makati.

- We need to practice more, so we partner with school organizations and organize leadership training program for them. That increased our training hours we conducted.

- We also organized new junior jaycee chapters in schools – from orientation to team building, leadership training and all other seminar – we organized it, sponsored it and run it just for us to practice our training skills.

- In the company that I worked for, I proposed training programs for my staff usually on Customer Service, Complaints Handling and Telephone Techniques, hence, another opportunity to practice (back then 10 hours of trainings we conducted to non-jci were also credited).

In summary, the key words here are practice and learn every step of the way. But always have that willingness to learn. One important aspect of the code of conduct of a JCI Trainer to remain humble at all times.

Trainers are not stars; they make stars out of people. Cheers!

Glenn
